Obituary of Anthony Michael Teixeira

Anthony Michael Teixeira, age 21, of Trumbull, beloved and cherished son of Antonio and Glenys Ayala Teixeira, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 17, 1994, he was currently a senior at Central Connecticut State University pursuing a degree in Construction Management. Anthony was a graduate of Trumbull High School Class of 2012. While at Trumbull High he was a captain of the soccer team, lead the team to the FCIAC Championship and received many athletic awards. He was currently working at Acradis Engineering and also was formerly employed by Smith Richardson Golf Club, Town of Fairfield Board of Education and Aptar. He was a loving son and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family. His smile and love will always continue to live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Anthony aka AT, Tex and Tony will be deeply missed by everyone. In addition to his beloved parents, Tony and Glenys, survivors include his loving brother and sister, Sean and Julia Teixeira of Trumbull, paternal grandparents, Antonio and Maria Teixeira of Bridgeport, maternal grandparents Ramon and Laura Ayala of Fairfield, godparents, Tino Teixeira and Laura Gnidek. He also leaves to cherish his memory many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
