Obituary of Eddy Luis Sang Torres

Eddy Luis Sang Torres SSgt, U.S. Air Force, age 24, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in Mississippi, while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Elizabeth Torres of Bridgeport and Luis E. Sang of Puerto Rico. Eddy was a graduate of Bassick High School Class of 2008, where he graduated with honors. After he graduated, Eddy enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country for the last seven years and was a member of the Honor Guard. He was a very outgoing and loving person, who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a very smart and intelligent man who was a mentor to many. Above all he was a loving son and brother who cared deeply for his family. His strong will and love of family will continue to live on within all who knew and loved him. He will be truly missed by all. In addition to his beloved parents, Elizabeth and Luis, survivors include his loving brother and sister, George X. Baez and Lindsay R. Torres both of Bridgeport, aunts, Daisy Ramos and Miriam Quiles, cousins, Alberto Ayala, Joshua Mota, Rene Lozada and Gloria and Angel Reyes. He also leaves to cherish his memory his paternal grandmother Nelly Garcia as well as many additional relatives and dear friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Jorge and Aurea Quiles. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the CT State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
