Obituary of Camille L. Burns

Camille L. Burns, age 62, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on October 28, 1952 she was the beloved wife of Robert E. Burns. She is predeceased by her mother, Marie Lupinacci, her mother-in-law, Anna M. Burns and her father-in-law, Lawrence C. Burns, Sr., as well as her brother-in-laws, Larry Burns, Jr. and Anthony Pagano. Camille loved all types of music and animals, especially feeding birds and painting birdhouses. She also found great enjoyment in boating, attending Broadway shows, cooking or dining out. Camille loved family fun night! Playing Wii, Pokeno, Yahtzee & Left Right Center. She didn't always win.......but that's ok! Her greatest happiness however was found in the time she spent with her family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her beloved husband Robert of 47 years, other survivors include her loving daughters, Tracy Sierdy and her husband William of Torrington, Nichol Pomales and her husband Pablo of Stratford, her three cherished grandchildren, Evan and Aidan Sierdy and Mia Camille Pomales. Her sister, Marlane Pagano of Stratford and sister-in-law, Brenda Burns of Bangor, her nieces, Dana Hovanec of Trumbull, Amanda Locke of FL and Kerry Brown of Bangor. Her nephews, Tony Pagano of Stratford and Douglas and Timothy Burns, both of Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. directly in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, August 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yale New Haven Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), 20 York Street, New Haven CT 06510 ATTN: North Pavilion, 9 Manager.
