Obituary of Vito W Aloisio

Vito W. Aloisio, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Josephine Vitiello Aloisio, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 8, 1928, he was a son of the late Antonio and Giacomina Caracci Aloisio. Mr. Aloisio was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. Before his retirement he was a Data Processing Manager at Moore McCormack Lines for over 35 years and a Realtor with Century 21 for over 10 years. Vito was a member of the Men's Senior Golf and Bowling Club at Tashua Knolls and won many club championships. He was an avid fisherman and boater and his greatest joy was spending time with his family on the beach at his beach house in Old Saybrook. Survivors include his loving daughters, Valerie Aloisio and her husband Andre Dery of Fairfield, Janice Goeller and her husband John of Riverside, Andrea Messick and her husband Ken of Trumbull, his cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Ariel Hendrick, Brandon and Brooke Foley, Makenna, Kyle and Tristan Goeller as well his step grandchildren, Ashley Bellew, Brandon and Noelle Messick and Jason, Justin and Jordan Dery. He was predeceased by brothers, Rosario and Joseph Aloisio and a sister, Ann Maudsley. Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
