Jorlando "Julius" LaGaipa, age 82, of Huntington, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015 at CT Hospice in Branford surrounded by his loving family. He was the adored husband of the late Dolores Pagliaroli LaGaipa and his beloved first wife Carolyn Baratta. Born in Bridgeport on November 27, 1932, he was a son of the late Alphonso and Lucy Spinelli LaGaipa. Julius was employed by the BAC Union Local 1 as a bricklayer and master plasterman before his retirement with over 30 years of dedicated service. Julius was a dedicated family man with an infectious smile that could brighten anyone's day. His bright blue eyes and gift for carrying on a conversation with anyone led to many close and long lasting friendships. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory the children of his late wife Dolores, Joseph Moody of Derby and David Moody and his wife MaryEllen of Milford as well as several nieces and nephews.
