Obituary of Deborah L. Mulloy

Deborah L. Mulloy, of Shelton, beloved wife of Edmund DeJesus, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 29, 2014. She was a cherished daughter of Louise DeSimone Mulloy of Trumbull and the late Timothy J. Mulloy Jr. She graduated from Trumbull High School, Southern Connecticut State University and earned a Master's Degree from Sacred Heart University. She began her professional career as a teacher of the hearing impaired. Debbie then went on to have a thirty year corporate career as National Sales Manager at Pitney Bowes. Debbie was joyful, fun, loving and generous. Her caring and upbeat personality endeared her to many. She loved animals, gardening, travel, the beach and all things summer. Her biggest love was for her family and the unbreakable bond that they shared. She is survived her loving husband of over 30 years, Ed, and her mother, Louise, two sisters, Eileen Mulloy of New York City and Lynn Mulloy of Shelton, three adored nephews, Travis and Nicholas Mulloy Whitney, Richard Pring (Rachel) and a niece, Renee Pring. She also leaves to cherish her memory, aunts and uncles, Kathleen Mulloy, Nancy Cetorelli (Daniel), Joseph Riccio, Peter DeSimone (Mary Schantz), sister-in-law, Lourdes Pring (George), brother-in-law, Manuel DeJesus, as well as great nephews Omari and Jayden, several cousins and many dear and life-long friends. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Peter and Dena DeSimone and Timothy and Kathleen Mulloy and aunts, Maureen Mulloy and Marie Riccio. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
