Pandora Plasa, age 81, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Maefair Healthcare Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 21, 1933, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Plasa. Before her retirement, Pandora was a skilled hairdresser having been employed at House of Robert's in Bridgeport for many years and also Fran's Hairstyle in Bridgeport. She was an unbelievable cook who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was well known for her Italian Cooking, Apple Pies and Homemade Spinach Pie which she took much pride that this recipe was passed down to her family. She had a very generous heart and helped everyone. Pandora was very religious and her faith kept her going. She was an active member of St. George's Albanian Church in Trumbull. She enjoyed traveling with her friends and family, which included traveling to Mexico, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. One of her favorite things was to go out to lunch every Wednesday with her friends, especially Barbara. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who cherished her time with her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher A. Costello Jr., a brother, Ernest Plasa and a sister, Dolores Plako. Survivors include two children, a son, Anthony J. Costello and his wife Carissa of Trumbull, a daughter, Pandora Keiser and her husband Tyler of Vero Beach, FL, four cherished grandchildren, Carly Costello and Tyler, Brendan and Ryan Keiser; her dear childhood friend Barbara Maher of Fairfield and Pandora and Tony's father, Christopher Costello Sr., as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Nurses at Maefair Home Health Care for the exceptional care they provided to their mother while she was at Maefair and Miss Phillips from the State of Connecticut for her guidance with helping them navigate the Title 19 process.
