Obituary of Evelyn T. Montini

Evelyn T. Mallozzi Montini, age 92, of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester Montini, Sr. Born in Little Falls, New York on May 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and Evelina Pilatti Mallozzi. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards but her greatest pleasure was taking care of her family and cooking for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her five beloved children, Joseph Montini of Stratford, Chester Montini Jr. and his wife Brenda of Trumbull, Evelyn Marini and her husband Richie Sr. of Stratford, Valerie Pappas and Dorrine Pappas and her husband Peter, all of Trumbull, eleven cherished grandchildren, Jason Montini, Richie Marini Jr., Tina Piacentini, Erica Fontan, Alicia Connery, Alexis Villegas, Chester Montini III, Nicholas Montini, Peter Pappas III, Anthony Montini and Vincent Pappas, eight beautiful great grandchildren, Paige, Melani, Gianna, Thomas, Charles, Alivia, Ryan and Andrew as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great grandson Chester IV and two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly in the Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 498 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Easton.
