Daniel M. Pagliaro Sr.

January 11, 1924 - January 11, 2007

Daniel M. Pagliaro, Sr., age 83, of Bridgeport, a retired manager for Township Motors in Stratford, died on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on January 11, 1924, he was a son of the late Bruno and Angelamaria Petrino Pagliaro. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, he was proud to be a Purple Heart recipient. He enjoyed boating, fishing and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Marie Samperi Pagliaro, a daughter, Sandra Pagliaro Taurisano of Yonkers, New York, a brother, John Pagliaro and his wife, Josephine of Bridgeport, sister-in-law, Genevieve Pagliaro of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Pagliaro and Nicole and Michael Taurisano as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel M. Pagliaro Jr. and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew’s Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
