Jennie Sforza

March 24, 1918 - February 17, 2009

Jennie (Giovanna) Sforza, age 90, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Sikorsky Aircraft, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of John and Maria Giannini Sforza. Survivors include a brother, Nicholas Sforza of Fairfield, two sisters, Ann Mastrone and her husband Edward and Rose Silvia, all of Bridgeport as well as many nieces and nephews and a dear friend Ann Marie Tarantino. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony Sforza and three sisters, Marion Sforza, Angelina Vecchio and Julia Capra.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Margaret’s Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
