Grace (Grandma Grace) Poidomani D’Amico, age 81, of Trumbull, a retired cashier for McCrory’s, died on October 31, 2007 in Ludlowe Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 20, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ignazio and Carmella Puglisi Poidomani. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the United Church Women’s Group and an active parishioner at St. Andrew Parish. She enjoyed cooking for everybody. She was pre-deceased by her husband Vincenzo D’Amico and a brother Anthony Poidomani. Survivors include a son, Carmen D’Amico and his wife Kathleen of Fairfield, a daughter, Tina Cadella of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Grace Patricia D’Amico, Rose Nicole D’Amico, Vincent Anthony Cadella and Giovanna (Gigi) Concetta Cadella as well as several nieces, nephews and many devoted friends. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
