Amedeo DeGirolamo, age 76, of Trumbull, a retired construction laborer for Local 665, died on Friday, February 9, 2007 at St. Joseph Manor. Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy on May 27, 1930, he was a son of the late Michele and Angela Spinelli DeGirolamo. Amedeo was a loving and dedicated family man who always put their needs before his own. He was an avid gardener and took great pride and joy in making wine at home. Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Concetta D’Aiuto DeGirolamo, a loving daughter, Angela DeGirolamo of Trumbull, a brother, Mario DeGirolamo and his wife, Carmella of Milford, a sister, Clara DeGirolamo of Foggia, Italy, a Sister-in-Law, Maria Tucci of Italy as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Nicola DeGirolamo and a brother-in-law, Antonio Iorio. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. |
