Joseph F. Gomory, age 70, of Stamford, a retired employee of Hertz Rental Car, died at his residence on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on December 3, 1938, he was a son of the late Joseph and Wilma Kersey Gomory and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include a sister Barbara Mazzone and her husband Greg of Trumbull, a niece, Lisa Lilly and her husband Norman and a nephew, Gary Mazzone and his wife Theresa. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. directly in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 466 Elm Street, Monroe. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
