Geraldine “Gerry” Gosselin Card, age 67, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and a retired administrator for Healthsouth Surgical Center, died on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Bridgeport on December 18, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Wendell and Florence Leary Gosselin. Mrs. Card enjoyed bowling, her annual trips to Las Vegas and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Douglas H. Card, Sr., a daughter, Bonnie Ryan and her husband, Raymond of Bridgeport, a son, Douglas Card and his wife, Dawn of Trumbull, four grandchildren, Ray and Kelly Ryan and Taylor and Rachel Card, three great grandchildren, Ray Ryan III, Joseph Ryan and Krysteena Botelho. She was pre-deceased by two brothers Richard and William Gosselin. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. |
