Herbert Eide, age 91, of Trumbull, a retired plant manager for Consolidated Diesel of Greenwich, died on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at his residence. Born in Bronx, NY, on April 25, 1916, he was a son of the late Harold and Krestnse Nesheim Eide. Herbert loved wood working, and most enjoyed helping family and friends with handyman projects. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Adeline Castellanete Eide, and his daughter, Barbara Ann DeAngelo. Survivors include three children, Diane Corchard Perachio and her husband, Rick of Trumbull, Harold Eide and his wife, Donna of Brookfield and Steven Eide and his wife Madeleine of Newtown; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 12 Noon in Nichols United Methodist Church, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
