Kenneth R. Berchem

Kenneth R. Berchem, age 93, of Trumbull, died peacefully on Sunday September 5, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Manor. Born in Bridgeport on November 4, 1916 he was a son of the late Robert and Hannah Olson Berchem. Mr. Berchem was the retired owner and operator and past president of Raynor Door Sales Inc., which he established in 1953. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley Brown Berchem, a son Kenneth Berchem, a daughter Karen Jean Berchem and his sister Helen Moffitt. Survivors include his devoted son and daughter in law, Raymond Berchem Sr. and his wife B.J. of Monroe, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and a daughter-in-law, Stasia Berchem Dzilinski of Newtown. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Manor for their care and professionalism showed during their time of need.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
