Jean L. Spata Baron, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Sears Roebuck Co., passed away on Friday March 30, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center, after a long illness. Born on August 29, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Santo and Rose Tucharone Spata. She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Affie and her husband Robert and Donna Savage, as well as her beloved grandchildren, R.J. Affie, Jillian and Christopher Savage, as well as
a sister Violet Lind of New York and a brother Sandy Spata and his wife Dorothy of Ocala, FL., nieces and nephews, Patricia Migliore, John Kirk Lind III, Mark Spata, Douglas Santo Spata and Gregory Spata, as well as many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her brother, James Spata.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.
