Cardiac Nurse at Bridgeport Hospital

Lynn Virginia Perruccio Smith, age 55 of Trumbull, beloved wife of Michael Smith, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Smith was born in New Haven on December 22, 1956, a daughter of Clementina Tannoia Perruccio of Milford and the late Rosario Perruccio. A graduate of Jonathan Law High School of Milford, Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and Sacred Heart University, Lynn worked as a nurse in the Cardiac Care Unit at Bridgeport Hospital for many years. Lynn was also a great fan of the UConn women’s basketball team.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include her two loving children, Rebecca Lynn Smith and Andrew Harley Smith, her two sisters, Sharon Saley and her husband Robert of West Haven, and Gail Berardesca and her husband Frank of Branford as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
