Donald J. Hallama Sr., age 60, of Stratford, beloved husband of Valorie Garofalo Hallama, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 23, 1951, he was the son of the late Daniel and Evelyn Quackenbush Hallama. He had been a structural engineer since 1974 and became a partner with Hallama Pelliccione Structural Engineers LLC over 30 years ago. In addition to his wife Valorie, survivors include a son, Donald J. Hallama Jr. and his wife Megan, and a daughter, Lorien Hallama and her husband Christopher Lawrence, all of Stratford, two granddaughters, Zoe and Kaylee Hallama as well as many nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
