Antonio B. Borges

Antonio B. Borges, age 61, of Trumbull, a retired machine operator for Darien Asphalt and Paving, died on Monday, May 21, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in San Joao, Portugal on August 30, 1945, he was a son of the late Antonio and Emilia Borges. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Toninha Sousa Borges, a daughter, Jennifer Borges of Brighton, MA, three brothers, Joao, Duarte and Candido Borges, four sisters, Elizabeth Carvalho, Maria Lopes, Ester Jose and Luisa Vaz, many nieces and nephews and his devoted companion and best friend Deco. He was pre-deceased by a brother, George Borges.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
