Kathleen J. Bilger

Kathleen Joyce (Pfuelb) Bilger, age 48, of Trumbull, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer. Kathy was born on June 8, 1959 in Buffalo, New York. She received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Houghton College and her graduate degree in Special Education from Buffalo State College. Kathy was married to her loving husband Mark on October 9, 1982. Kathy gave up her career in teaching to adopt and raise her handicapped son Jesse, now 26. She was a devoted mother to Jesse and her two daughters, Amanda and Laura. Kathy’s love of children and education led her to be the Children’s Sunday School director for several years at Black Rock Congregational Church. Kathy is survived by her husband, Mark, their three children, her parents Ron and Janet Metzger Pfuelb of Machias, NY, her brother and sister-in-law James and Beth Pfuelb and their family.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in Black Rock Congregational Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
