Eleanor Diorio Panicali, age 89, a homemaker, of Fairfield, died peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Linthicum Heights, MD at her daughter’s residence. Born in Bridgeport on March 13, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine Misurale Diorio. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Quinto Panicali and a sister, Jeanne Prokop. Survivors include her loving daughter, Patricia Breidenbach and her husband Robert of MD, two sisters, Antoinette Lucas of Shelton and Louise Kubik and her husband Peter of Stratford, sisters in law, Katherine Luciano of Trumbull and Margaret Panicali of Bridgeport and her brother in law, Richard Prokop Sr. of Stratford, three grandchildren, David Breidenbach, Matthew Breidenbach and his wife Jennifer and Laura Glasgow and her husband Adam, three great grandchildren, Molly Glasgow and Matthew and Ava Breidenbach as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. |
