Martha Michaels Bizub, age 73, of Stratford, a retired bookkeeper for CR&L Bus Co. and Barker’s Department Store, died on Monday, July 2, 2007 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on February 22, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Stephen J. and Eleanor Torreso Michaels. She was a communicant and lifetime parishioner of SS Cyril and Methodius Church where she was an active member of the Ladies Guild. She was a charter member of the Mary Knoll Missionaries. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward A. Bizub and a sister, Patricia Gonzalez. Survivors include a sister, Bernice Radacowsky of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in SS Cyril and Methodius Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford.
