Helen Mariconda

Helen DiMenna Mariconda, age 88, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on March 12, 1918, she was a daughter of the late John and Leonarda Riccio DiMenna. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and a former seamstress for the Panettieri Shirt Co. Mrs. Mariconda was a member of the Altar Society of St. Margaret. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Nicholas T. Mariconda, two sons, Nicholas G. Mariconda of Stratford and Glen Mariconda of Bridgeport, two grandchildren, Glenn and Marissa Mariconda, both of New York City, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Benjamin and Louis DiMenna and four sisters, Mary Federici, Florence Misurale, Jane Musante and Dorothy Pond.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 7:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 8:30 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
