Marini – Maria (Marietta) Marini, age 92, of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Frosinone, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Gerardo and Filomena Marini. She had worked as a seamstress at Panettieri Shirt Compnay. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 66 years , Giovanni Marini, son in law, Livio Marini, a brother, Domenico Marini and a sister, Costanza Testani. Survivors include two daughters, Vincenza Marini and Maria Luongo and her husband Vincenzo, all of Bridgeport, a son, Lorenzo Marini and his wife Holly of Monroe, a brother, Pasquale Marini and his wife Anita of Bridgeport, two sisters, Teresa Marini of Bridgeport and Margaret Nicolia and her husband Armando of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Angela Stuebben and her husband Kurt, Anthony Luongo and his wife, Linda, Vincent Luongo Jr., Charlotte Marini and John Marini, three great granddaughters, Nicole Stuebben, Isabella and Gabriella Luongo and several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. |
