Theresa DeFeoJune 17, 1911 - October 31, 2005 Resident of Bridgeport
Theresa Emitazione DeFeo, age 94, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Monday, October 31, 2005 in Ashlar of Newtown. Born in Bridgeport on June 17, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Biagio and Grace DeBella Emitazione. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony DeFeo and three sisters, Jill Papp, Rosa Zaremski and Aurelia Brenyo. Mrs. DeFeo worked as a seamstress for Seaside Blouse and Levine’s Coat Factory of Bridgeport and assisted at St. Vincent Medical Center. She was known to many for her baking and cooking. Survivors include three children, Rose Cesero and her husband, Louis of Trumbull, Ralph DeFeo of Trumbull and Blase DeFeo and his wife, Janine of Southbury, two sisters, Margaret Franzese of Los Angeles, CA, and Ann Volpe of Bridgeport, six grandchildren, Theresa D’Andrea Way, Tony D’Andrea, Deborah McGuigan, Kimberly Plitnick, Louis Cesero and Tanya Cicarelli, eleven great grandchildren, Alicia and Anthony D’Andrea, Michael and Bailey McGuigan, Kayla, Brooke and Morgan Plitnick, Benjamin and Kenan Cesero and Wyatt and Colten Cicarelli as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFriends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. |
