J. Vincent Vogel

J. Vincent Vogel, age 74, of Derby, New York, formerly of Milford, a retired vice president for Hart, Schafner and Marks, died on August 13, 2005. Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of Edith Heissler Vogel of Fern Creek, Kentucky and the late Joseph Vincent Vogel and a U. S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Candance Vogel, six children, Craig Vogel and his fiancé, Maria Perez of Southwick, MA, Lisa Nicewicz and her partner, Paul Nicewicz of Chelsea, MA, Tracy VosBurgh and her husband, Peter of Fairfield, Reed Vogel and his partner, Darlene Darilec of Varysburg, NY, Dean Vogel and his wife, Gina of Milford and Sara Anne Vogel of Derby, NY, a brother, George Vogel of Fern Creek, KY, a sister, Margery Ernst of Stratford, former daughter-in-law, Karen Fazekas of Woodbridge, 23 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and their families. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Reed Vincent Vogel.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends can meet on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 10 a.m. directly in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
