SEKELSKY– Henry C. Sekelsky, age 75, of Shelton, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Stratford, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen Lesko Sekelsky, and was a U.S. WWll Army veteran. Mr. Sekelsy was a retired driver for Vallerie Trucking and formerly did construction work. He was a life member of VFW Post 10466 of Shelton and a member of Teamsters Local 191 and the AARP. Henry enjoyed boating, working in his vegetable garden and tinkering with his tractor. Survivors include his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Joan Kalakay Sekelsky, four sons, Danny Sekelsky and his wife Jacque of Franklin, TN, Michael and James Sekelsky, both of Shelton, and Randy Sekelsky of Melbourne FL, four brothers, Frank Sekelsky of Shelton, Paul Sekelsky of Newington, Charles Sekelsky of Stratford and Raymond Sekelsky of PA., four beloved grandchildren, Mandy Ann, Danny, Michael, Robert, Joshua and many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Edward Sekelsky. Funeral InformationA prayer service will be conducted on Saturday May 7, 2005, at 11 AM in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday 3-7 PM. Donations InformationIn lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made through the funeral director. |
