Stefanina Matarazzo D’Agostino, age 87, of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Caserta, Italy on June 23, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Raffaele and Margherita Bengivenga Matarazzo. She was a hard working, loving woman who loved to garden and was very dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the joy of her life. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francesco D’Agostino and a daughter, Laura Munno. Survivors include her loving children, Margherita Evancho and her loving son-in-law, Michael of Shelton, Gerarda Sollenne of Shelton, Paula D’Agostino of Milford, Raffaele D’Agostino of Italy and Angelo D’Agostino and his wife, Linda of Milford, 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
