Louise E. Genga

Louise Lombardi Genga, age 89, of Trumbull, a homemaker, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Astoria Park. Born in Bridgeport on July 9, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Spadaccini Lombardi. Mrs. Genga had a great love of cooking and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be missed by all. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albo Genga, three brothers, Attilio, George and Edward Lombardi and a sister, Elvira Panarese. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Robert and her husband, Leonard of Trumbull and Eleanor Leveroni and her husband, Thomas of Wrentham, Massachusetts, a brother, Lucian Lombardi of Kensington, five grandchildren, Richard Leveroni, Catherine Buetow, Anne North, Thomas Leveroni and Christina Roberto, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 4, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
