Theodore (Ted) Andry, age 79, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Ellen Costulas Andry, died on Saturday Jan 1, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was a son of the late Christy and Mary Andry, and was a longtime Fairfield resident. Mr. Andry spent the majority of his career employed by the Textron Corporation, and was a U. S. Navy WWII veteran serving on the USS Miami in the South Pacific. He leaves his loving family, a son David and his wife Jacquelyn of Ridgefield, a daughter Cyndee Sorrentino and her husband George of Stratford, four adoring grandchildren, Vanessa Sorrentino and Nicole, Christian and Cameron Andry. He also is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Shola, and Andronica Kressu, both of Stratford and Flora Soter of Springfield MA, his brother and sister in-law, Andrew and Linda Andry of New York City, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church, 539 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment with full military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
