Carmine Veloce

Carmine Veloce, age 87, of Stratford, a retired baker for Cookie’s Bakery, died Thursday, November 25, 2004 in Bridgeport Health Care Center. Born in Calabria, Italy on February 10, 1917, he came to the United States in 1966, and was the widower of Domenica Guglielmo Veloce . Survivors include a son, Gerry Veloce of Stratford, a daughter, Carmela Cicchelli of Ontario, Canada, a sister, Marie Porco of Toronto, Canada, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 8 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:00 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
