Alice Ann Ridington

RIDINGTON-Alice Ann (Corrigan) Ridington, aged 84, of Shelton, Connecticut, on December 4, 2009. A native of Fairfield, Connecticut, she married Richard W. Ridington, a sea captain, in Fairfield on June 19, 1948. She devoted her adult life to raising the couple’s two children, Claudia and Richard, Jr.; to her interests in interior decorating and gardening; and to a lifelong love of helping others. Her daughter, Claudia, died in 1991. She is survived by her husband; her son, Richard; her son’s partner, Rhonda Mattern, of Huntington, and her sisters, Nadine Johansen of Newington and Jewel Oltman of Shelton.

Funeral Information

Memorial services will be held at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, on Sunday, December 13, at 2-4 PM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
