Jerry P. Vecchione

Jerry P. Vecchione, age 89, of Bridgeport, a retired construction worker for Laborers Union Local 665, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on February 2, 1915, he was a son of the late Sebastiano and Maria Falcetano Vecchione. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recepient. Survivors include his brother, Sylvester Vecchione of Milford, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by four brothers, Michael, Paul, Ralph and Joseph and four sisters, Concetta, Angela, Annie and Sadie.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport. Interment services with full military honors will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:00-9:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
