Mary D’Alesio Ranalli, age 91, of Bridgeport, devoted wife of the late Vito G. Ranalli, died peacefully on Sunday May 27, 2012 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Pettorano Sul Gizzio, Italy on February 22, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amablia Tecca D’Alesio. Mrs. Ranalli came to the United States at the age of 14 and settled with her family in Bridgeport. She was a retired seamstress for the former Rose’s Dress Shop, Bridgeport. She was predeceased by a daughter MaryAnn Ranalli Ryan and a son Vito Ranalli Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Pat Ranalli Wilson and her husband Jim of Shelton, a son-in-law Alan Ryan of Fairfield, six grandchildren, Lauren Wilson Carrillo and her husband Alfonso of California, Jimmy Wilson Jr. of Bridgeport, Linda Wilson Criscuolo and her husband David of North Carolina, Mark Ryan and his wife Kara of Orange, Carla Ryan Zwaan and her husband Ard of Shelton and Michael Ryan of Maui, Hawaii, six great grandchildren, Jordan and Trevor Criscuolo, Jaylee and Zen Zwaan and Carly and Cooper Ryan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
