Doris Lillian Wild, age 75, of Stratford, died on Thursday, November 26, 2009 in St. Raphael Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 8, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret DeChant Skarren and was a retired waitress for Art’s Diner in Stratford. Her pride and joy was her family and she always lived life to the fullest and loved helping others. She was predeceased by her husbands, George Wild and John Bump Sr. and a brother, Robert Skarren. Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Wild and his wife Mary of Naugatuck and John Bump Jr. and his wife Judy of Stratford, a daughter, Deborah Bump and her spouse Ernie Caribe of Stratford, a brother, Walter Skarren Jr. of Toms River, NJ, two sisters, Jean Anne Quintiliano of Stratford and Frances (Chi Chi) York of Brooklyn, NY, six grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna and Emily Bump, Daniel Carroll Jr., Shayna Caribe and Maegan Wild as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Friends can meet on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull for interment. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
