Henry E. Osborne, Sr., age 74, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of General Electric with 35 years of service, died on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at Bridgeport Manor. Born in Goshen, New York on December 30, 1931, he was a son of the late Frank C. and Lilly Williams Osborne. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a lifelong member of VFW Post #7788 of Devon. After his retirement, he also worked for the Connecticut Humane Society for 12 years. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary Virginia Collins Osborne. Survivors include his son, Henry Osborne, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Milford, six brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews. Funeral InformationGraveside Services with military honors will take place on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
