Dolores A. (Baker) Ackerman

June 14, 1931 - December 31, 2008

ACKERMAN (BAKER) –Dolores A. Ackerman (Baker), age 77, of West Haven, the widow of Kenneth P. Ackerman, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Branford Hills. Born in Bridgeport on June 14, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Torreso Lesko and was a member of the Italian American Club of West Haven. Dolores will be sadly missed by all, especially by her many friends at the Union School Senior Housing of West Haven. Survivors include two loving sons, Arthur Baker Jr., of Milford, Jeffery Baker and his wife Carrie of Orange and their father, Arthur Baker Sr., of West Palm Beach Florida, two brothers, Joseph Carrafiello and his wife Eleanor of Bridgeport, Robert Lesko and his wife Arlene of Fairfield, a sister, Marie Micholovich and her husband Kenneth of Huntington, five grandchildren, Allison, Taylor, Brett, Jeffery and Sherrie, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral Services will take place on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
