Linda A. LaPrise-Mavrides, age 50, of Chandler, Arizona and formerly of Bridgeport, died suddenly on Thursday, December 27, 2007. Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Carol Mullane LaPrise of Stratford and the late Frederick L. LaPrise Jr. Linda was a graduate of Central Magnet School in Bridgeport and had been a resident of Arizona for the last 7 years. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 20 years, Michael S. Mavrides, a sister, Kathleen Ledford and her husband James of Stratford, a brother, Michael LaPrise and his wife Alice of Shelton, two brothers-in-law, Tim Mavrides of Phoenix, AZ and Chris Mavrides, nieces and nephews, Zachary and Cassie Ruth LaPrise and Jordan and Kyle Taylor, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
