Joseph Frank Paternoster

Joseph Frank Paternoster, age 86, of Jacksonville, NC and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Monday, June 21, 2010. Born in Bridgeport on May 27, 1924, he was a son of the late Ralph and Lydia Indigo Paternoster and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He was pre-deceased by his wife Edith Tomasini Paternoster, a sister Barbara and four brothers, Michael, George, Albert and Richard. Survivors include two sons, Paul Paternoster and his wife Debby of Jacksonville, NC and Carl Paternoster and his wife Lynn of Sandy Hook, a daughter, Frances Silano and her husband Patsey of Bridgeport, three brothers, Ralph Paternoster, William Paternoster and his wife Eleanor and Nicholas Paternoster and his wife Linda, three sisters, Teresa Voroscak and her husband Robert, Martha Cennamo and her husband John and Carol Belchick and her husband Gene, eleven grandchildren, Anthony Paternoster, Michael Paternoster, Carl Paternoster and his wife Teresa, Lisa Katz and her husband Gary, Angela Silano, Donna Klein and her husband Michael, Nina, Tina, Mia, Pat and Deanna Silano, numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
