Rose Nappi Franco, age 94, of Bridgeport, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on February 18, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Caroline Addeo Nappi. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Carlo D. Franco a daughter, Rosann Athans Faria and two sisters, Antoinette Leonetti and Esther Cavalli. Survivors include two grandchildren, Lt. Commander USN Kenneth Athans of Hawaii and Carl Athans of Seffner, FL, a sister, Carmela Cavalli of Bridgeport, two great granddaughters, Alexandra and Taylor of Hawaii as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margaret’s Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends and relatives may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
