HALLINAN– William A. Hallinan, age 66, of Monroe, beloved husband of Carolyn Mayeux Hallinan, died on Friday, June 19, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Berwick, Pennsylvania on February 23, 1943, he was a son of Shirley M. Wiberley of Yorktown Heights, NY and the late William F. Hallinan. He was a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Hallinan was an audit manager for Orange and Rockland Utilities.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include his children Sean T. Hallinan and his wife Erin of Branford, Shannon K. Viteretto and her husband Scott of Monroe and Erin Scinto and her husband Robert of Stratford, a brother Richard Hallinan and his wife Susan of Hopewell Junction, NY, three grandchildren Seamus, Alexis and Alexander as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in William A. Hallinan’s name.
