Francis J. Forte, of Shelton, died on Saturday morning on the 25th of November, 2006. He was born in Bridgeport, in 1919 to the parents of Louis Forte and Betty Luccarelli of Fairfield. Francis was a pilot in the Army Air Corp during the Second World War. After serving for two terms in the military, he worked as an engineer at Robert Shaw Fulton in Waterbury for most of his life. During this time he demonstrated a unique creative ability. He is responsible for many timing devices still in use today. In addition to his wife, Julia, he is survived by his son Francis C. Forte, his daughter-in-law Rina Forte and only grandchild, Francis L. Forte. Funeral InformationFuneral services will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment with military honors will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. |
