Ann Granata

Ann Nitti Granata, age 88, of Shelton, died on Sunday, August 29, 2010 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Bari, Italy on March 7, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Finelli Nitti. She was a talented seamstress and a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She raised many children in addition to her own and will be sadly missed. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph L. Granata. Survivors include four children, Theresa Lucente and her husband Gary of New Milford, Mary Ann Granata of Shelton, Richard Granata and his wife Cindy of Kent, NY and Raymond Granata and his wife Elizabeth of Mahopac, NY and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street Trumbull on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 9:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Peekskill, NY. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
