Catherine R. Roballey

Catherine R. Silvestro Roballey, age 96, of Stratford, a retired employee for Salerno’s Restaurant in Stratford, died on Wednesday, February 08, 2006 after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer’s Disease in Wilton Meadows Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 25, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Julia Capozziello Silvestro. Mrs. Roballey was a member of the Baldwin Center and St. Mark’s Ladies Guild and was formerly employed by General Electric and American Chain and Cable. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ralph A. Roballey, two sisters, Loretta DiMiero and Mary Torsiello and a brother, Joseph Silvestro. Survivors include three devoted children, Thomas Roballey and his wife, Pat, Ralph Roballey and his wife, Eleanor and Gerry Corry and her husband, William, a sister, Angie Rivelli, all of Stratford, four grandchildren, Dr. Thomas Roballey and his wife, Tracey, Charlene Maurati and her husband, Dino, Kathleen Kirk and her husband, Tom and Kimberly Colabella and her husband, Michael, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
